Scally Rally

This is the MK 2 Granada used for the Scally Rally 2006. We came 20th out of 77 cars scoring 333 points from the daily challages. We donated money from the rally to our local under 12's football team Kendal United Colts towards a new kit. We hope to do the same again this year. This year we will be team 39 not 24. We are looking for new sponsers this year anyone who is interested please contact me. We already have local business who are helping get the car ready for rally including Lound Road Garage and Kendal Radiator Co Ltd.

This years route has now been issued to us and this year it looks more challenging than last year. We start day 1 at Calais and head for Basel which is on the borders of France, Germany and Switzerland.

Day 2 See's us leave Basel through Switzerland via Interlaken along the Swiss mountain lakes to the swiss alps to finish that day at Lake Como in Italy.

Day 3 See's us stay in Italy from Lake Como we head to Stelvio 'King Of Passes' via Sondrio and Tirano to end the day in Cortina.

Day 4 We leave Cortina and head south via Venice leaving behind all the mountains and lakes in finish the rally in the lovely coastal town of Rimini. After the rally who's knows? will the car be tried and have to stay in Rimini and us fly home or will she be fit enough for the long journey back to Kendal??
